Sport How to avoid Deadly Dioxins??

Sport Fitness
I need help on this one.

I have been aware of the toxins that are released in plastic bottles and containers for some time. That's why I only drink water from polycarbonate bottles like Nalgene brand (yes ,there's a justifiable reason as to why they are so expensive), but now I am looking at my plastic onctainers for lunch/meals during the day. Since I have been on my new 5 meal a day diet, I have been taking a good 3 -4 meals and snacks to work in Tupperware like containers, and warming up chicken/beef/pork/fish in these containers. Everytime I do so, I wonder how these dioxins are going to affect me in the long run. So, where can I buy poly carbonate containers or other safe portables that are not glassware?? Other safe alternatives?

Personally, I think you are doing it the hard way.

Remember that anything you put in the nuker cannot be metal. Therefore, it has to be either plastic or glass. If it is plastic, it WILL break down no matter what the composition, it is only a matter of when. Glass is the best. -But impractical.

Therefore the best thing to do is the most obvious so it is often missed: Take the food out, and dump it onto a paper plate. If you need to cover the plate with another while the food cooks, so be it. For a bowl, you can use paper bowls. Always better to use paper rather than plastic. -However, if you want to be nitpicky, you could always realize that chemicals are used in paper processing so paper isn't great either. -But it beats plastic.

I guess the best thing is to keep your food cooked ahead of time, bring cold or room temp food to work, then you have no big issues.

-Oh, and by the way......as far as the water?

Better to save money by buying a water distiller and bottling in glass jars. Distillers can cost up to around $1000, but you will save in the long run. Just remember to take 2x your vitamins you do now, since distilled water leeches them out. Purchasing large glass containers of juice give you good water storage containers. Making a long story short, you cannot leave distilled water exposed to air either, so this process is almost a requirement.

Anyway, hope some of this helps!
