How should I begin toning up after losing a considerable amount of weight?

Hi, I'm 17. 18 in two months.

Almost 18 months ago I became quite ill, I wouldn't consider it life threatening but I had to drop out of college, and since then I've lost 4 stone. I'm better now but now I'm 8 stone 6 pounds (118 pounds or 53.5 kg). I don't look 'boney', but my face is now drawn and I do look fairly thin... My body fat percentage is 6%.

Now I'm better, I want to tone up. But I'm not keen on putting on to much weight (fat), only muscle. I was wondering what should I do to try and tone up? Where should I begin? There aren't any gyms locally and I can't afford any equipment, but I do have a set of dumbbells and time. Lot's off it at the moment.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks. :)

6% body fat is not healthy for an 18 year old who is still growing. I would focus on exercising, Google body weight exercises, and a healthy diet with the proper balance of carbs, protein & fat. You need fat in your diet but focus on health fat like olive oil, salmon, nuts etc.
