Sport How often do you guys cheat?

If you do, how often do you guys cheat? I know I could crush a bag of Red Hot Utz right about now. I just love hot food:mad:

The longer I stay away from food that is processed and far removed from its natural state, the less I miss it. I don't cheat very often because I really have very little desire to.
 
What does cheating mean to you?

I hate the term cheating. Its pretty stupid. I think of it as over indulgence.

It depends on what you consider "Cheating".

If cheating means eating processed foods, I rarely ever do.

If cheating means eating large amounts of food (4000 calories or more in a day) for pure enjoyment, then yes, I do cheat like this one or two times a week. This is usually breakfast foods, pancakes, omelets, toast, steak and eggs... omg its great.
 
Well I consider eating a 5-8 oz bag of potato chips as cheating ! Cause its junk food and I dont incorporate it into my diet whatsoever. A whole bag is probably like 500-700 calories + ~60 grams of fat. Not sure how much carbs. I just get cravings for really hot food and this is what came to mind at first. Eating Jalapenos with my veggies dont cut it. Its not hot enough.
 
its the overemphasis on regimen that leads to cheating... stay the course for today, and it will help build bit by bit the confidence to stay the course again tomorrow.

and i was going to answer that i have been married 20 years... ahaaha
 
i used to cheat once (or twice) a week. but since i started bulking i eat so much food that when i eat something high in fat or sugary i feel sick or i get really tired. from my body trying to digest it. thus i dont have the desire to have a whole box of pizza anymore. so you'll get over it once you see the outcome of it.. them chips probly make you feel like poo after!
 
Try planning your cheat meal at the begining of the week, a lot of the time thinking about the cheat is better then eating it. If I would eat fast food or pizza, I would get sick as hell after and be in the bathroom for hours. For me my cheat meals are pretty basic, I consider gatorade a cheat.

I also dont look at unplanned bad meals as "cheat" meals, I call them "fail" meals :(
 
When I am bulking, I will eat pretty much anything I want as long as the essentials are in check.... namely proteins and EFAs.

When I am cutting, I will eat something off plan on occasion, but it is rare.

I think the idea of "cheating" creates a negative relationship with food.
