I am trying to get five meals to a day at the following hours:
7:30 am, 10:30 am, 1:30 pm, 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Quite often I only managed to eat only four times a day.

How often do you eat?

I usually structure my day the same way M-F

Breakfast fiber bar/coffee 6:30

Snack - typically a boiled egg or an apple @ 10:00

Lunch (protein and fruit) @ 12:30

Afternoon snack (usually salad) @ 4:30

Dinner (Protein and veggies, with a yogurt for dessert) @ 7:30

I try and stick with this, but it all varies. I try not to eat after 7:30, but if work out hard and feel genuinely hungry, then ill def eat again.

I eat breakfast if I can force myself to, and then dinner. Lunch on days when I hadn't had breakfast. I tried several smaller meals per day, but that left me hungry all day even when I had just had a snack. I work better on slightly bigger, but fewer meals.

I basically eat when I feel like it and try to make it low calorie choices. On an average day, I'd guess I had three meals a day (breakfast- porridge, lunch- rye bread and cottage cheese, dinner- a low calorie concoction with steamed veggies), dessert (usually Greek yoghurt and fruit), and I snack at least twice a day (usually a piece of fruit). It almost always comes in under my calorie allowance, so I don't see why I should force myself to stick to a particular pattern or doctrine, when it's the calories that count.

TRUTH - This took me a while to realize, but once you figure out you only need to eat when you are feeling hungry, and as long as you make good choices, you should arrive under your calorie cap for the day.

That's actualy proven true for me as well. I find regardless of whether I skip breakfast, have a large lunch or dinner inevitably I end up eating a pretty similar amount of food over the period of a day without thinking about it.

I even find that the more consectutive days exercise I have done the more I will eat as the days go by.

That said, good food choices are also mandatory. I suspect if I ate a lot of processed foods (which I don't) I could easily eat a lot more calories without realising it.

It depends on how I've eaten throughout the day.
Sometimes I eat 4 times a day. Some times I eat 6 times. But on most days I eat 5 times. 5 is my usual number I guess. I'm full to the brim from drinking water throughout the day though. I drink a gallon everyday.

It's hard to reach 5 times a day, even more difficult to reach 6. Time seems to fly and before I know it, it's meal time again.

Different things are better for different people for different reasons.
It all depends on your lifestyle.

Usually a small breakfast, biggish lunch and large dinner as I do most of my eating in the evening. I can be on like 500 calories for the day by 8pm and then ruin it completely with snacks so try to have a big meal that keeps me fuller longer :)

I eat a big breakfast, a low calorie snack, a good lunch, and then a small dinner. It has worked for me, because I burn off the breakfast all day. I've lost 6 pounds this last week, just doing than and staying active...cleaning and such.

I eat four to five times a day but should probably eat more. Normally I would eat small meals in the morning hours and then when evening rolls around I eat heavily. Bad, very bad. Lol. I will be re-vamping my diet/routine very soon.

I eat three times a day and I know its bad, I tried to follow various patterns and/or diets but so far I couldn't manage to keep any regular time-frame of eating through the day.

3 meals and 3 snacks, what's hard about that? ;)

I find being bored is the biggest calorie magnet in the world. Hard to limit my eating when I'm at a loose end.

I do quite well with water intake and try to have a peice of fruit/large glass of water before dinner to take the edge of my intake. Dinner is where I can bust 1000 calories if I'm too hungry.

I have 4 meals a day. I know that 4-5 meals a day are perfect so your diet is pretty good.

There is no such thing as 'perfect' when it comes to meal frequency. It depends entirely on the individual and what works for them. For example, for me 4 - 5 meals totally don't work and are not 'perfect' at all.
