How often do you do it?

I mean how often do you weigh yourself?

(sorry last option was suppose to say "I take my scales everywhere and stand on them at every possible moment"

 I am guilty and obsessed with everyday weigh in's!

Hey I dont weigh very often because I dont have any scales but if i did i reckon i would weigh a couple of times a week or at least weekly.

I don't own scales either! I think I might drive myself mad if I had them!!! haha

I weigh myself everytime I go into the bathroom. And with all this extra water - that is many, MANY times a day. It fascinates me how much my weight can vary throughout the day. Plus it has shown me that fluctuatiobs are normal.

As for 'official' weigh-ins - the ones I actually log in my records - they only occur weekly on a Friday morning.

Cheers,
Linda

I weighed myself once a month whilst on the program, every day (morning and night) during stabilisation, and now I weigh once every morning...I'm a bit paranoid that if I don't keep a close eye on my weight, that it will creep back on.

Im a serial weigher, im one of those everytime i go to the bathroom types lol...but my dad has hidden the scales from my mother and i since we started Cohens. So we can only weigh ourselves at our fortnightly consultation. "Tough Love" he calls it:rolleyes:

lol i think he got sick of the "i havent lost anything today" rant :p .

I found my first week on the program went so fast because i wasnt weighing (i had my first consult at 8 days) and i didnt have great expectations, but now because i know my next one is next week i've been jumping at the bit to know what i weigh! its crazy, because i know im getting further into the program i think im telling myself that i should expect good numbers! ahhhhh im just nuts

Im sure you're counting the days till december 6! i sure would be. but good on you for hanging in there. imagine it...a whole month without weighing. thats a serious ticker update!:D

I only weigh myself once a month at my clinic, but once i get within 5 kilo of my cohens goal weight which should be in the next 7 weeks, i will be weighing myself once a week (i have figured out i average about 1.4kg a week loss), then i will weigh once a day whilst on stabilisation...then when im maintaining i will weigh once a week!!
:)
hope that wasnt too confusing lol

Weighing

Hello

For the first 4 weeks, I only weighed at the clinic every 2 weeks. Sounds pretty virtuous doesn't it ... except the only reason it was so infrequent was because I didn't own a set of scales then ... ;)

.... AND THEN .... I bought a set of scales ... and the weighing 3 x a day started .... aaaaagh .... I did that for a month and then asked my husband to hide my scales ... it was doing my head-in!

I have now told Cohens I wil only go to them monthly to weigh-in (they like to weigh every 2 weeks - I know, I know, against the whole Cohen's 'weight loss is a monthly cycle so only weigh once a month' principle ...).

Now, having said all of that - while I'm not due for my 'official' weigh-in until 27/02 - yesterday, I 'pressured' my husband into producing my scales - I needed a 'motivation moment' - and was happy to see a nice loss looking back at me ... :D

Hi all:)

I'm with Fatcat I only weigh in every 4 weeks. I am not a weigher.
My consultant actually asked me weigh a week before my 8 week weigh in because I was getting very hungry and when I got off I was so disappointed.
So not going back there again. I'd rather go by the clothes.

Sam:)

serial weigher

HAHA I weigh everyday, I am just curious to see how much if any that i lose on a daily basis I know weight fluctuates but it doesnt phase me if i havent lost anything whereas my friend who is doing cohens she gets a bit down if she weighs and hasnt lost anything so she doesnt weigh everyday lol.
