I am new here and was wondering how often should I work out the same muscle. For examle how many times should I bench for my chest or curl for my arms a week? I plan on weight training 5-6 days a week but don't want to over work each area.
As long as you balance your muscle groups in the long run, you can train the same muscles every 24-48 hours. That's the amount of time that they'll take to fully recover.
