Almost 2 weeks ago, I topped the gym scale at 304lbs. I just got on my scale and it says around 290lbs. I'll be really happy if my scale is correct. But the thing is, I've heard that for 'normal' weight loss, people should only lose 2lbs per week. I am not doing anything like diet pills, I've never had surgery, I don't smoke or drink, never had children, have no health problems(except weight) and I'm still under 20 years of age. The only thing I've changed in my diet plan is eating less, staying away from junk food completely, drinking only water and walking/running on my treadmill everyday. So would it be ok for me to lose more than 2lbs a week? If so, how much weight would you call safe to lose per week? Even though I only see this in people who have had surgery with rapid weight loss, I am terrified of the thought of having to deal with loose skin. Please help!
