Sport how much salt

Does the amount of salt you require differs if your working out everyday? I know a lack of it can cause pains when doing excercise, and too much is unhealthy. but how much is healthy?
 
Uh...I think I heard somewhere around 2500 miligrams is recommended, I think....

Anyway's, what I am sure of is that it should be the amount of a teaspoon daily.
