Sport How much is enough brown rice?

Hey everyone,

I eat brown rice daily, usually at lunch and dinner with my EFA fish oil.

How much brown rice is a healthy amount? 1 cup? 1/2 cup?
 
since yer goal is fat loss, I'd go with 1/2 cup servings.

try to get more carbs from vegetables (no potatoes) and fruits (watch bananas though) and less from starchy carbs like rice, pasta, bread and potatoes when leaning out.
 
post cooking.

rice should double in size when cooking...hence why 1 cup rice needs 2 cups of water to cook it.

don't do too many fruits..you need veggies too. green leafy veggies = fiber, calcium, iron...among other goodies.

pasta doubles in size, rice actually triples
