So how much fruit is healthy to eat a day? As it's summer here we have lots of fruit available and I may take 1 or 2 to work with me. For example today I took a plum and a small mango. But I no to much is not good as well.

I'd say just go for it. :)

Depending on the fruit, your average fruit has about 100 - 120 Kcal per piece. If you think about it, it's way better to eat the fruit than a piece of bread, or eating pasta, for example.

The fruit also has fiber which is gonna help fill you up.

However, try to moderate the very sugary ones (bananas, mangos, etc). Things like oranges are about 100 Kcal for 200g (this is your average medium orange, try weighing it so you get the idea of what it looks like), so you could eat 600g and it still would be very little.

Having fruit withen half an hour of waking up in the morning kickstarts metabolism, and, ensures faster busing of unwanted calories through the day. It is a good idea to start the day with eating some fruit.

Balance is always crucial, as long as there is meals of additional substance then go for it eat what fills you. Fruit can be an awesome in between meal snack or even a small meal on its own that satisfies a craving and fills you up.
