How many posts will I need in order to have signature?

I was wondering,how many posts I will need before I can add signature??? I read on the forum FAQ page,that I can add signature with signing in trhough the edit my profile page but I were never able to do so?Someone with answer???
 
I hope Moderator looks at this thread and gives u a kind reply !
 
Stick around and participate in the forum for a while... eventually you'll be able to make a signature, provided that there are no links, etc. in that signature ;)

Does that rule not apply anymore?
 
we make some random exceptions based on a number of criteria:
1 - do you say anything like "click here" or "visit my website"
2 - does your website sell anything
3 - do you have ads on your site
4 - is the content of your website "garbage"
5 - do we not like you
6 - are you too new to deserve any promotion
7 - are we grumpy

If we answer "yes" to any of those questions, than we will probably ban you and delete your post. We try to keep the forum as clean as possible and deter spammers by having a zero tolerance on any kind of spam. If you are on it for your own selfish interests, than we will ban you.
 
don't quite get it do you? There is a reason we don't allow links in the signature. It's so you don't start spamming people your website until you have built a reputation. You try to circumvent that by posting links in your posts and you get banned ... not rocket science.
 
There's really no need for a signature... if someone is on the forum for a while and making legitimate posts, and eventually they end up putting in a signature, that's one thing. But to sign up for a forum and immediately want a signature really just tells us that you're going to try to post a link or some sort of advertisement and don't really have an interest in making legitimate posts.
 
Not really though? Signatures let other people know a bit more about yourself which is what newbies need sometimes. :-S

Surely if someone was to have a link in the signature then it could just be removed by the moderators?
