Weight-Loss How many cals do I need??

Hi :D

I have been eating between 1200 - 1450 cals a day since I started my weight loss journey and I don't actually know if this is okay.

I am sedentary partly owing to an injury/disability that prevents me from doing much exercise and also I am revising for A levels at the moment so I have no time for exercise.

My weight is 184 lbs and I'm 5'7'' tall. Like I said before I am sedentary.

After my A levels (last exam is 17th June) I plan to go for walks each day but they would only be about 1-2 miles at a time because I really can't walk for that long.. don't want to go into massive detail but I broke my left ankle in 7 places and completely shattered the heel bone 2 years ago and I have lots of metal work in it now and I can't do much walking or any running. It is slowly getting better but I still limp and have to use walking aids sometimes in the morning or if I've been sitting down for longer than about 1/2 hour cos it just goes dead lol. So that's the story behind the lack of exercise to prove that I'm not just a lazy cow :p

Any ideas of calorie intake to lose about 2lbs a week would be greatly appreciated :D Merci in advance. X
