How fast do you gain

I'm interested to know how fast you guys gain when you bulk. I'm asking because i only started this time last year in the weights room and gained weight extremely fast when i first started. In my first 3 weeks i gained 13Lbs and then after almost 6 months i gained a total of 29Lbs before i started to cut.

I started bulking again 9 weeks ago and i've only gained 3 Lbs since then. I know that muscles have adapted more than they use to be hence slower gains.
 
It varies for me, but that's good progress for you. Did you put on a considerable amount of fat?
 
Thats great progress.
When I had my 1st serious bulking phase, after my beggining year I put on 30lbs of weight, then I went down to the same body fat % as before and found that 20lbs of it was muscle.
I was happy with that. I hope to add about 15lbs of muscle every year. I think thats a realistic amount.
 
Oh ok, that's good then. I can't say for sure if i gained that much fat as i didn't do a % test or take before and after pictures but i only gained about a couple of inches on my waist. So probably not that much at all. I cut was only able to cut off 5Lbs. of fat over the christmas summer, probably could've taken off more but i wanted to start gaining again. I have to do alot of walking to get to and from school (about 25km a week) so i guess that contributes to not much fat gain. I was gettin a bit p|ssed at slower gains this year so yeah that's cool. I think I was very underweight, therefore when I began to "bulk", seriously anyways, it came on very quickly.
 
25lbs? Im not sure thats quite right. thats almost 2 stone.
if you put on 25lbs in a month your clothes would be incredably tight!

i went from 70 kg to about 75 kg pretty quick :p but i was a very skinny man when i started working out, always been skinny.. always will be:p
