What little treats are you giving yourself to reward you for all your determination and slimming body (the slimming body is a pretty good reward).

12kgs down = goldclass movie with hubby.did this last night.

20kgs= new clothes

30.8 = Goal weight + new diamond in my engagement ring that has been missing for years. It might be a slightly bigger one too!!

the rewards will be so many........

Kids will have a healthy mum
Hubby will have slim wife
I will like looking in the mirror
I will join in more and not be as self-conscious
Beach wear is ok to wear
etc etc

What is everyone else doing to motivate their cohen's journey??

Goodmorning Losing

I haven't done anything to reward myself yet. Just getting back into some of my smaller clothes has been reward enough.

I will go and have my hair cut and styled after my 8 week weigh in but beside that I am saving it for the BIGGIE getting to Goal, then I will shop for new gear.

I would love to buy a formal dress. I also have lots of impulse buy's [small ]clothes that i look forward to trying on for the first time.

I think the major reward is feeling so much better health wise my back and knee's which gave considerable bother has gone and before Cohen's I was starting to get migraines and they seem to have disappeared as well.

Not sure about swimmers yet i would need to tone up and their is still the cellulite is consider [yuk!!]

Sam:)

What a good question! I have the goals sorted out, but not the rewards as I have only been daydreaming of "normal" sized clothes!!!:) I am going to really think about this and post my goals and rewards later! Thanks

PS: HL and Losing, I looove the sound of the sparklers!!!!:D

Hey losing

I'm going to reward myself with a brand spanking new skinny wardrobe.
Everytime i lose 10 kilos hubby gives me a full body massage, oh how sweet.
I think thats about it. i think a nice dinner out somewhere in a flash new outfit will be enough for me. and been able to go to the beach and not hearing people call greenpeace.

Another big reward for me will be seeing a relative that has never been shy in telling me I need to lose weight - probably won't even recognise me at the end.

Hubby is very fit and goes to events and stuff and another reward will be not feeling like people think = "gee that's his wife - she's a bit fat"

Rewards :D

Hey everyone!

i dont reward myself in terms of 10 kilos down,20 down etc but instead reward myself after my cohens weigh in!

After my 4 week weigh-in i went to Garden City (big shopping centre across the road from my cohens clinic-how convenient hehe!) and had my nails done :D

this friday (my 8 week weigh in) i will go and get my nails re-filled and add two little fake diamonds to the tips of the thumbs.

At my 12 week weigh in i will get my nails re-filled and get a pedicure.

If ive reached goal weight by 12 weeks i will get my hair jazzed up too, but i think it might take a few extra weeks so i will prbably hold off till my 21st birthday (1st of march) where i will ask everyone to give me $$$ for a humungous shopping spree and a new hair do!!

:D so thats me in a nut shell hehe :D

(ps:eek:h and another thing im going to reward myself is to find a nice good looking boy for the winter! hehe!)

happy losing everyone! xx

Fat Cat

i live 1km away from garden city, where is the cohens clinic? i used to go out of my way to east brisbane

Hi Netski,
I think FatCat means Garden City Shopping Centre in Booragoon Perth - that is right across the road from the Cohens Clinic on Risely Street. And oh yeah very convienient - I love going there I buy a new scented candle from Dusk every time I go!!

I used to work in Garden City at the radiologists there. Wonderful shopping!
Gee I haven't thought about that place in years.
I'm over the other side of country now and am six hours away from shops like that. Might have to pop over when I get to goal to go shopping.
I wish!

I'm going to get a hulking huge diamond eternity ring when I get to goal weight!! I want flashy big diamonds!

That sounds like a great idea! But - I know that diamonds are a girl's best friend, but Eartha Kitt (who was married to an Estate Agent) modified that to 'Real Estate is a Girl's Best Friend' and I know that you would agree with that statement!

My idea of a reward was to become a slim person, and of course there was all that retail therapy required because absolutely nothing fit anymore, and there is no greater thrill than wearing size 8 stretch jeans (with stilletto heels!)

So perhaps the reward was the stillettos?

Cheers

Weekly treat for being a GOOD girl!

My husband and I are doing this together, so when we do well all week we treat ourselves on Sundays. We go to our favorite sushi restaraunt and then see a movie. We allow ourselves to eat what we want that night at dinner, and treat ourselves to a candybar and diet soda with our movie. Works for us, and in the long run doesn't inhibit our weight loss all that much. I refuse to act like I don't love food, because I DO, so this is a great weekly willpower booster for both of us!!!

I have thought about it and I have decided...drum roll please...I am going to have my teeth whitened!!!! There are two things I have always been self conscious about and that is my tummy and my teeth. So I am going to get a nice figure hugging gown and some new teeth, he he:) :D :)
Of course there are little rewards just along the way. This morning I tried on a dress I wanted to wear to my BILs wedding on the 4th Feb and it is way too big, that gave me big smile!

I think my husband would be even less impressed if I said I wanted to buy an IP than about the diamonds!

Here is a list of rewards I have did up for myself for the remaining kgs towards my refeed weight of 66kg:

68 kg - Starbucks English Breakfast Tea (24 packs @ S$10)
67 kg - Foot reflexology
66 kg - A pedicure!

I haven't decided what I will be rewarding myself with once I start on the refeed or finish refeed. I wonder for those who have completed refeeding, what did you do to celebrate it?

I'm 67.5 kg! So that means, I'll be getting my Starbucks tea bags. I can't wait for 66 kg to come soon!

Wellllll......

I need a new car

So maybe I will pay a little extra and get a red convertable!

Though the gold is nice....

:D

A girl can dream!

my bf is quite supportive of mi.. so every time i drop a size down.. he takes mi shopping and he pays for it.. so guess that's a kind of reward~ :D

Every week we try and do something as a family. I have a 10 year old and 5 year old so my reward is often being able to play with them or keep up. Previously it was a bit of a huge effort, you seem to hit the ground harder when your heavier.

I also have bought lots of new clothes. But after reading the posts for this thread, I think that I may have to get my teeth whitened too... today I was just looking at my smile and remembered that I often got told that I was fat.. not no more.. and the other thing was that I had patchy teeth... well I want ot fix that too... Before you know it I wont be able to recognise me...hehe:)
