How do you de-wind?

I just had a hard day at work and it lead me to ask the question
"How do you de-wind after a stressful day?"

It would be interesting to find the unique ways individuals dewind!

I could tell you, but as a mod I'm suppose to refrain from using the type of explicit sexual language that I need...

Sometimes I go train, maybe I'm weird, but at the gym it is "me time" I really enjoy it there. I also like to play the guitar.. try to relax, get in touch with my creative side and try to make some cool riffs or licks.

Other times I go on random internet forums and respond to threads made by girls where I casually nit in the fact that I need offensive language to explain what I do in bed, that I work out and that I play guitar.

During the summer I come home grab a tire tube and float in the water looking up at the stars. Or if there are waves I surf in the moon light.
 
Depends on the day; sometimes i go for a run, sometimes i hit the gym, sometimes i open a bottle of wine or go the pub with my mates. It's different for everyone, take Karky for example, how smooth he is with da ladies!!!!!!!! :D
 
I get vodka'd up with the lads, get so hammered i dont know my own name.

Hopefully finish off the night with some random lass. Love it ;)
 
I get married to my daughter every night. She gets her white dress on and we have a wedding and dance.

After that the rest of the crap I’ve been through that day doesn’t seem as bad

Then I go around and say sorry to everyone, and accuse them of being human too. Then I feel bad for a lil bit, lick my wounds, try to snap out of it by eating ice-cream and trying to act like nothing matters :11doh:

so, I try not to get too wound up too often :jump1:

I don't allow myself that luxury. I work full time, have kids, keep the apt nice, etc., and don't have time for that. I just go & do.
 
I like to order some dry ice once in a while...then purchase 24 cheap ass bottles of water and go at my fathers place (nice peaceful place in the country) and blow the living hell out of his yard with it. :D

Hardcore techno music...nothing does it more for me than that.

I used to do alot of iron fist training about 7-8 years ago...I still tap my knuckles on metal surfaces once in a while to maintain their toughness...sometimes I like to test my fist on things that's going out for garbage...last time I did this was with a 30 years old computer printer that was finished, my roommate was watching as I made it explode with my fist ^.^

That's how I de-wind...not very often though... :p
 
I usually de-wind on the drive home, especially during nice weather where I'll roll down all the windows and let the wind blow through while listening to tunes at a high volume.
By the time I get home, I'm in a much better mood. I see the wife's face, which always brightens my day, and I play with my two cats (they are both 1 at the moment so still have a lot kitten attitudes).
If, for some reason I'm not in a better mood, I'll go for a bike ride or play frisbee bare foot in the lawn.

I guess since I started this thread...

I find the most relaxing thing for me is....
Brew some hot tea; light some candles around my tub....Mr. Bubble and Oil Tablets, Classical Music...Dim the lights, Pin hair up, Slip out of the robe, and soak....
I soak untill I drift away.:luxlove:

(But men don't do this, so I was curious to ask....)
