How can i lose my weight quickly

Eat less calories than you use. Ideally around 2000 a day. Read the back of packets for information on how many calories are in it :D

2000 a day can be over maintenance calories for the OP depending on their weight/height/gender/age/lifestyle. Better use an online calculator to find out your maintenance, and know that 500 calories deficit a day means a pound loss per week.

I think weight loss and fitness always boil down to 2 things: 1) Metabolism and 2) Nutrition.

Metabolism: You worked to expend the excess calories so that they do not turn into fats. To do that, either you create a calories deficit or you increase your calories usage.

For those who prefer to exercise, you should focus on weight training and high intensity interval training like wind sprinting. Forget about cardio.

Nutrition: First thing is to get the habit of reading labels. If you see anything that says high fructose corn syrup, trans fat, hydrogenated or partial hydrogenated oil, put it back.

Next understand that you need to eat a balance meal, and not follow a fad diet. One that contains carbohydrates, protein and fat.

Opt for unprocessed carbs and when possible, it's better to take fruits (not fruit juice) and vegetables. Technically speaking, fruit and vegetables are less calories dense. Good for losing weight.

Get your plant protein from beans, legumes, and nuts, while animal protein, eat free-range and/or organic meats.

Get this straight, we need fat. And the right kind of fats would make you fat. What we need is natural fats from fishes like salmon and tout or fruits like avocado.

When you need oil, use coconut oils and pure virgin olive oils.

By the way, for the ladies and gentlemen out there, avoid soy based products and beer.

Guys, soy and beer (contains estrogenic compounds) cause fats to accumulate on your chest. So unless you are interest to grow boobs continue eating.

Ladies, one of the reasons why your stubborn belly fat never go away could be due to your high intake of soy based product and beer.

Interesting but not really. Body fat doesn't go one area just because you eat a type of food. Everyone is geneticly designed to put fat on in one way and off in the reverse. This is why you hear people saying that no matter how much they lose, their belly or their rear is still big. Your stubborn belly fat is likely one of the first places the fat went one so it will be one of the last places to come off.

Lol, that's actually pretty funny. No, Jericho has the right of it, you don't gain (or lose) fat in specific areas because of the foods you eat or the exercises you do.

Anyway, I have plenty of belly fat and I never eat soy based produces plus I hate the taste of beer!

Yeah if you don't have money even-though you can lose weight since weight lose is just burning of calories. You should do regular exercise and swimming it will consume more effort from you and hence your calories will burn it will automatically leads to weight loss.

How to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks

Step1: Start with a juice based detox diet. The juice based diet will cleanse your body of toxins and undigested foods and provide you with the needed carbs and sugars. This diet is not at all suitable for a long period. It will work as a crash diet meant to lose lot of weight within a short period of time. It is an effective way to shed that unwanted weight.

Step2: Cardiovascular exercise over a period of two weeks will help you to lose 20 pounds. It is better to do 1 hour aerobic workout for s days on each of the 2 weeks. Other options you can try out are power walk, cycling, jogging, swimming or whatever activity you are found off. If you want to involve your self into a sporting activity, that’s also fine.

Step3: Don’t do to much exercise and go on a juice diet- it can affect you adversely. If you want to lose weight by exercising then make sure you get the proper nutrition, eat lots of vegetables, fruits and proteins. When you eat protein check whether they are healthy ones like olive oil and canola oil.

Its not at all easy a easy task to to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks. but if you are determined, believe in yourself and put in the right kind of efforts, then nobody can stop you from achieving the desired result.

We do not support crash dieting in any way shape of form!!! Unfortunately, the only rule you broke is very bad advice. I can't do anything about that but say to people DO NOT DO THIS!!!

There is no fast way to drop weight. If anything I would advise against doing so. Slow and steady wins the race. If you want to lose weight and keep it off, it has to be a lifestyle change, not a temporary fix.

If you lose weight too quickly, your less likely to keep it off. Depends what your aims are really but most people want to lose weight AND keep it off!

And OMG that "belly fat is caused by eating soy" made me LAUGH- Get this, I don't eat ANY soy, I don't eat carbs (eating disorder hang-over) and I mainly eat fruit and vegetables with protein from fish or sometimes chicken. I am a healthy BMI of 23 (which I am trying to reduce) I am apple shaped meaning I hold my weight around my abdomen and back. I am apple shaped because of my genetics: both parents have this issue.
As I said, I eat none of the foods pre-warned, I eat well but just too much. Yet I have my difficult to dress shape. I constantly look like I am expecting and get asked often if I am too by complete strangers, offered seats on trains, told "you shouldn't be exercising like that in your condition....!" and its not good.

So the theory on certain foods putting fat in certain areas? Unless I am a very special case- which I doubt, its more to do with genetics and perhaps cortisol (hormones) but in my experience and opinion, has less to do with food then it does plain water!

There's a lot of way to lose weight without spending much money. Again I must say it's just a matter of self discipline.

What an amazing forum to come across..

Weight loss quickly? I would try setting a healthy routine for about 2 days and sticking to it to the letter. Reduce your eating, get outdoors and do some light exercise to introduce your new regime. Give your self a treat after those few days (bubble bath, manicure) as a reward for taking care of your self and starting a new lifestyle. Set some new goals for the next week or so and give your self another reward at the end of that period for sticking to your motivations. It will become conditioned into your lifestyle after a while and you won't any longer need to lose weight quickly because you will have maintained your weight consistently.

Drink loads of water!

Yes, there is safe and quick weight loss. I have been doing it with my clients for years. It's with the paleo diet, which is basically a protein and produce(vegetables for the most part) Be sure to supplement with a good multi and fish oil. 80% of the population cannot eat carbs in high amounts without gaining weight. Most people function way better on this type of diet.

Oh I love this..you know why 80% can't eat high amounts of carbs without gaining weight? Cause a high amount of Carbs contains a HIGH amount of calories. You know what else will contain high amounts of calories? Lots of protien, lots of sugar, lots of fruits, lots of veggies...lots of anything.

It's about moderation.
