Hey I made a thread before about what I could do to lose weight etc but here is a better idea
I am 6'1 and I weighed around 230 or so last I checked. I am 16 and am currently visiting my dad in Florida for the summer so I decided this was the PERFECT time to work out and get fit.
Right now I don't have access to a gym, and the only things my dad/step mother have exercise worthy is 2 dumbells that are 20 pounds and 1 that is 5 pounds. They don't even have a weight scale lol...
So not only do I have very little access to a lot of exercise equipment I don't even have access to a weight scale ever to even see if I am making progress which, lets be honest, is your main motivation. When you see yourself losing weight you are proud of yourself and want to lose more. I don't have that lol
So right now my "workouts" consist of
4-500 jumping jacks a day
2-500 crunches a day
2-500 20 pound dumbell bench lifts I believe is what you call them
and I run/interval train? whenever I can outside for 30 minunts to an hour but those are usually only on the weekend ;/
squats I do 20-50 a day, I don't do many of squats because I just don't see how they help that much, maybe if someone tells me what all they do for me then I might push to do more.
And that's about it for the exercises that I can think of.
My diet is pretty...blah to say the least. They don't really care much healthy stuff and when they do, it doesn't last that long because it's not jus tme that would eat it.
So in the morning it ranges from:
Fruit
Or
Some random healthy cereal like raisin bran
Or
Vegetables (I know lol >__<
Or
Nothing
Lunch:
Fruit and Vegetables
Or
Some bad for you frozen item
Or
Hamburger or chicken patty but currently they have neither so it's usually nothing.
Dinner:
Fruit and vegetables
And some random meat which could range from ground beef to chicken etc.
Snack:
Fruit or vegetable
I drink water but I don't drink a lot of it though but I don't drink soda. I heard it helps you lose weight but can anyone confirm that?
My calories rarely go up to 2000 but I dont watch them that closely because as you can tell from my diet, I have no issues with going over lol
Since I don't have a weight scale I don't get to see the progress as frequently as others.
And the main parts that I have fat issues is my stomach/chest and thighs but they aren't that much of an issue.
I am aware I can't focus fat off those areas but if I work on those areas and get muscle there, correct me if I am wrong it'll improve look wise there quickly
I was wondering if I could be doing anything else to see improvements soon. It's bad enough I can't see my weight so I atleast want to be able to take a picture now, and take another picture in a week or two and see that i've made progress atleast. I may soon be getting a jump rope that I can also use but right now I currently don't have one.
My goal weight is to be 170-180 I believe is an OKAY weight to be at. I just want to be able to put on a shirt and not be embarassed of the fat that accumulated around my chest (Moobs/boob area if you may) and have to hide it. Stomach is not too much of a concern nor is my thighs but I want to be able to atleast swiftly get rid of the moobs if anything before I get back to school. But preferably by July 23 I want to be able to look good and accomplish what I just said, not my goal weight but getting rid of the horrid moobs. Thank you c;
