I like to swim first thing in the morning, and I'm aware that fasted cardio is risky as far as maintaining muscle goes. Of course, swimming on a full stomach isn't a great option either, so I'm wondering what you think about having a tablespoon or so of honey right before swimming. Also, if you have any other comments on honey, for example maybe it will help me burn fat instead muscle during my swim more than say eating oatmeal before a swim would because of its sugar form, I'd like to hear them.
