Hopefully on a road to a better life

Hello, my name is Charlotta, I’m from Germany, so please excuse if my English isn’t perfect. I gained about 8 Kilograms in the last 4 years, I think that are about 18 Pounds. A few years back I lost quite some pounds with counting calories and I want to try that again. I also would like to start working out, the only problem is that I hate doing any kind of sports and I love eating… The thing I would like to change the most is that I really hate the way I look and of course, I know that there are many people who have a much higher weight. But I have no confidence and that never changed throughout the years, no matter how much I weighed and just would like to learn to love myself. Maybe some of you are in a similar situation and can understand me?

A good dose of self-love is a great way to begin your journey. If you want lasting results, then a healthy balance of nutrition AND exercise is required. If you don't like cardio, do resistance training / yoga / pilates instead? These are more effective at increasing your metabolism anyway. Good luck!
