Hi & Welcome! As everyone on here knows, the hardest battle is eating healthy all the time. Most people, it's years and years of eating too large and / or very unhealthy meals. It's not an easy battle. Other people can chime in, but emptying your house of all the garbage (quick unhealthy snack foods, especially) and not eating out is one of the best ways to help control the eating habits. The next part is to make yourself accountable. Creating a journal (either on here or a personal one) of what you eat and how much you exercise every day will help keep you going.
Biggest tip, if you are exercising and eating healthy, throw away the scale. It is the worst tool for people battling an unhealthy weight. If you are eating healthy and exercising regularly, you are doing the right things and long term, you will have success. Short term, you may get angry at the scale and quit before you see any results. It's more about doing the right things than watching the needle.
