i think thats one of the ingredients in Trimspa which i took for many months and did lose a lot of weight. :D

this is pure hoodia its not mixed like it is in trimspa so maybe thats why ive only been taking it 4 while anyway but i will keep you up to date with my weight loss if any!!

How much does trimspa cost by the way? because they sell just bulk hoodia gordinii alone for like 35 bucks for a little over a months worth. I guess it works better as you build it up in your system or something. There are some non responders though so it can be expensive if it doesnt even work.

trimspa cost varies depending on where u buy it and how much you buy. anywhere from 17.99 at walmart to 60.00 at GNC.

Is hoodia a stimulant? I'm not sure how I feel about using stimulants to lose weight... my mom took phen-phen when it could still be prescribed and she ended up with a heart murmur and cardio-pulminary hypertension after only taking it for a couple of months. I don't know anything about hoodia though. I personally have had little success with diet pills, herbal dexatrim made me feel light-headed and another pill I tried had chromium picconilate (or something like that) in it and I read in a book that it could cause chromosonal damage so I quit taking it.

Ill be honest... I dont have very high opinions of any of this stuff...I think you need to be real careful and make sure you talk to your doctor before you start anything... I know a girl who was on a weight loss supplement and died... no thanks!
I personally have found that the most success has come when I eat healthy & exercise..its harder work but you will be all over healthier for it.

of course everyone should always ask their doctor first! but no, hoodia is not a stimulant, its a plant that grows in south africa that is used as a natural appetite suppresant. it contains a molecule that tricks your brain into thinking your full. trimspa also has chromium in it, but its not picolinate its dinicotinate glycinate but i know nothing about that.

I'm really trying to find anyone that knows anything about Zetacap and if its ok to take

i wouldnt trust anything with ginseng in it and its way overpriced for just being an herbal diet aid. i will have to look into it more though.

Chromium is found naturally in foods such as apples, sweet potatoes brewers yeast and molasses. Chromium picolinate is the form people absorb best.......What picolinate is I have no idea..but I am going to look that up because I take that every morning.....

 i've heard about hoodia before and i'm really curious about it. however, i'm sort of scared to take diet pills, because a lot of people have heart problems and die after taking them :( . how safe is it, do you know, and how extensively has it been tested? is it safe to take everyday? my basic theory about diet pills is that i won't be able to continue taking any pill forever so i might as well get used to doing it on my own now, without chemical help. but if hoodia is safe to take on occasion, like if i need to drop a few real fast for a special event or something, then i can see taking it if it's safe. but no pill is worth risking my health, besides they're really expensive, so if they don't work it's a big waste of money.

the hoodia pills worked for me and alot of other people the tribesmen take it when they are going on treks for 3 days at a time and take the plant to suppress hunger make sure you buy the real thing there not all the same

Sooo... which hoodia pills are best & cheapest to get?
I doubt I'll ever try it, but might as well learn as much about it just in case right? heh

This sounds fishy to me. Google hoodia and try reading some websites not run by supplement companies marketing the stuff. I think I will pass and opt instead for eating less/exercising more.

Yes, that`s a good advise from BigBear, besides, you shouldn`t search for the cheapest Hoodia, because cheap stuff is not always good. Find a reliable source of the stuff!

I have mixed feelings about hoodia. I don't believe there is any reason for concern in taking it. It is all natural and isn't a stimulate, health wise my doctor told me it was safe and to go ahead and try it if I liked. So I did. I lost weight I won't lie, I didn't eat as much. But I think it was more a mental thing then the actual pills. First of all the instructions say to take it with 1-2 large glasses of water, that alone will help you feel full and help your metabolism. Also, for me I think I was pretty sure these pills were going to help me feel full and I just sort of did... I ran out of pills and didn't really have the funds to buy more so I just continued doing what I had been doing. Drinking the water, exercising etc. Same affect without the pills. The weight is still slowly going down and I'm not paying $40 a bottle for pills!

No matter what though as far as the medical industry goes there doesn't seem to be any health risks, so if you can afford it and it helps you I say go for it!

Good luck
