Hi all. I'm a 29 y/o female who has gained a significant amount of weight this past year. As I look to lose it, I'm just looking for honest opinions on how much weight you think it looks like I should lose.

Does my body look overweight/fat/obese? Please let me know what you think. Thanks and good luck to all on a similar journey!

Hi & Welcome,
The amount of weight is up to you. IMO, the weight loss journey has to be based on goals for yourself, not for others, otherwise you will never achieve it.

Hello @LizSouth! I think it's always based upon how you feel about yourself that ultimately matters. If you feel overweight I think you should strive to lose weight. For most people (it worked for myself) I always tend to focus and visualize myself at my perfect, desired weight.

It's a small tip that I've used and helped others with. But overall welcome and I wish you the best in your journey!

it's all relative to your comfort and confidence level. Heck I've seen before/after pics of ppl who weigh almost the same or even slightly more than what they weighed when they started their journey because they transformed their
body into what they felt was comfortable. Although they may weigh more, their pics are astonishingly different.

obviously i'm not suggesting to gain weight...my point is rather than worry about a specific number on a scale and judging your success by that...use the way you feel and lifestyle you have created as your assessment of the success of your journey.

good luck and good vibes!

just forget scale - people think too much about their weight, but much more important are centimeters / inches and body composition...if u have any questions about that, just ask :D
