Home use treadmill for big guys, and suggestions!

I'm looking into buying a treadmill. I will likely jog on it 2-3 times per week and right now I weigh 210 pounds. Does anyone have any suggestions? Obviously I'm looking for the best I can get for the money. It's looking like I'll be spending around $1000 to get what I need. But, if anyone near my size has one that they love and have had good performance out of for less $ let me know. I'm currently looking at the Sole f60, Nordictrack 2550 (both with 2.5 inch rollers), Smooth 5.45 with 2" rollers and the AFG 1.0 that is sold at a local home fitness store (unsure about roller size as of now). Most have 2.25 HP motors and the same width/length running surface. So, if anyone has any ideas, let me know. Thanks, Greg

Greg, I have a ProForm XP 550. I probably have 100+ miles on it and my wife has even more. Works fine for me and I would recommend it, but these guys say to go with a different ProForm model:

I probably paid about $600. Don't buy used, though, too many moving parts that are hard to replace.

Thanks G8R. I'll look into it. I ran to Sears this morning and looked at some of the NordicTracks. I really want to have the option to at least walk/run on one 1st before purchasing.

Greg,

I weighed 230 running on an Ironman that I got at Costco for 1000.00. I run on it because I had shin splints running on pavement. I had a yoga mat that I cut up and put a few layers of it underneath the corners to soften the impact. Honestly at 210 you should be fine with just about anything going for $1000 most are rated up to 275lbs.

Thanks. After all my research I'm probably going with the NordicTrack 2550. There is a very highly rated one at Costco for around 1000 bucks. However, there isn't a Costco anywhere near me. I figure with Sears there is one within 30 miles or so any direction I go.
