Sport Home made Protein Shake

Sport Fitness
So I have being planning on starting my own protein shake for a morning and night time. But I don't know how I should do it.
I looked on a site and it said use 500 mls of Fresh Skimmed Milk, Milkshake powder, 50g of dried skimmed milk powder.
Now does that seem right? I will add stawberries to it to add the taste abit more. But if not I read that Nesquick or Crusha has the highest protein for a shake of 19.7 g and only 1.0 g of fat per pint.

Keep it simple. 4 x XL whole eggs with 500ml of milk, blended. A tiny bit of sugar if you please.

This will give you about 44g of prot' (X-large eggs have about 11g protein according to my 2 packs here)

This doesnt include the protein contribution the milk will give you (this makes a min protein intake of 44g+ milk contribution)

None the less, if your worried about fat content at this stage, dont look at the above as im sure the fat content would be higher than other suggestions.

Cheers,

Steve.

Actually, ill just correct those stats. I read the carton wrong :(

4 Large eggs will provide you with Aprox' 27.6g of protein.
400ml of light milk will provide 16g of protein
which gives you a total of 43.6g of protein in one hit.

Add some 'Milo' (similar to nesquik) to make things taste nicer which will give you 3.3g of protein per 25g serving. 3 servings mixed in to the above will give you another 9.9g of protein.

A total of 53.5g of protein in one hit. Not to mention it tastes a stack load better than the protein shakes you buy today, and no doubt is cheaper.

53.5g at 3 servings a day will no doubt give you the requirement of 1g for LBS of body weight.

Cheers,

Steve.
