What do you guys think about homemade peanut butter?
Its made from grinded fresh roasted peanuts with olive oil.

I consume it about 4 times a week with multi-grain bread.

Sounds fine to me. What are your goals? Are you tracking calories or interested in how much you are consuming? If so, you may want to measure the Olive Oil when mixing it; it is seriously calorie dense, as is the Peanut Butter you are mixing it with. You can "easily" have a 500 to 700 calorie sandwich (with just the bread, NPB/Oil). Be careful, if you are concerned with calories. What kind of bread, specifically?

Is it too dry for you, after you grind the peanuts? Is this why you are adding in more oil (or more fat)?

Good sources of fat, just be careful with it.

yeah i love it.
I get 1kg of peanuts, smoosh up 600g with some oil then chop the rest of the nuts and add them. I put a bit of sea salt in there to.

per 100g your looking at about 50g of fat, 10g of that is saturated. so thats not great, but ok in moderation. But 25g of protein is pretty good.
its a great bedtime snack.

Have you ever tried pistachio nut butter? or almonds? you can even simply mix different types. pretty fun, if you have nothing better to do. Like me!

sounds a bit of a hassel to me when there's 100% natural pb available at good prices

There is something special about growing your own, and putting the work in necessary to have homegrown natural peanut butter. I am growing peanuts this year for this purpose (actually first time I have done so). In addition, I can get tomatoes from the store too, but a fresh tomato off the vine puts the store bought to shame (and this is an understatement).

Plus I like nurturing and tending to the care of the plants, and watching them grow from infant plants (or seed) into mature fruit producing beasts. I get a lot of personal satisfaction from it. Sometimes I see myself in these plants in a philosophical perspective, and its refreshing.

Best wishes

You could say that about a lot of things.
