That's kind of specialist. Tried google?

I am also a hockey and now what it is like to be out of shape for hockey. The first thing you probably should do is go for a good run every couple of days to get your leg muscles back in shape.

Here is a good article from a Toronto based trainer ( Craig Ballantyne ) talking to the Maples Leafs Conditioning Coach. Look for the questions......

- What about for the younger player, aged 14-18?
- Do you take a different approach when training females?

PlayYourGame.com - Interviewing the Leafs' Strength Coach

Also, this is something from Ballantyne that may give you some food for thought....

I'm a highschool hockey player and here is a very quick hockey related strength program

place two plates a little less than what you can leap laterally. start with your feet to the right of the right plate. by bending your knees and pushing off hard with your right leg, leap across to the other plate, landing on your left foot with your right foot in the air and your knees bent (it directly resembles a hockey stride.) hold, and leap to the rioght using your left leg. After a while, you'll get the hang of it. Its a little tricky to explain, but it does imitate a hockey stride... you cna swing your arms like your striding too.

This works out your quads and hams

after 3-5 sets of those (sets ending when you can no longer balance) go for a short interval run. This will get your lower body into hockey shape in as little time as possible.
if you really want to go out there at top shape, do this every other day.

good luck with your season
