Well I just wanted to introduce myself to you all.

I was really happy to find this site as I have been frustrated lately with my lack of self-motivation and thought some form of support group would help.

About 9 years ago I weighed 250 pounds. I managed, through change in lifestyle and eating habits, to lose about 70 of those pounds. I currently weigh 183 and would like to weigh around 170 for a healthier BMI and just to feel completely confident about myself! So I am here to lose somewheres around 15 to 20 pounds.

Great job losing and keeping off 70lbs! Welcome to the forum. I look foward to seeing you reach your goal.

How'd you lose the 70lbs? I'd love to know! Share, share, share. hehe : )
 
congrats on losing all that! welcome to the forum and i'm sure you will find the support you need to lose those last 20. :)
 
Thanks for the warm welcome.

I lost the first big amount of weight by changing my lifestyle and becoming more active. I learned to make it a point in every day to do a little something, even if it is a short walk around the block. I also educated myself more about eating well. So I think I have a good foundation for lifelong health...I just have a few extra pounds :)
