HIIT as well as normal jogging?

I read in a post somewhere that you should do HIIT and jogging in a ratio of 1:3 or something like that. Is it best to do both or stick with one?

I'm currently on HIIT even though it kills me each time I do it, is this good enough on its own for fat loss or should I be jogging as well?

(Isn't long, low intensity cardio the best for fat loss?)
 
low and high intensity are both good for fat loss if used correctly. main draw to high intensity is that it doesnt take as long and you continue burning calories after you finish. ;)
