some people says it does increase your appetite..but as for that along with the metabolism thing I don't think any official objective studies have been completely clear on it. I try to avoid it but it's hard especially in the US when it's much cheaper to use than sugar in most things..
its about the same as honey or any other sugar syrup. Not particularly filling and not particularly healthy to live on and most definatly not related to weight loss (full of calories)
High fructose corn syrup really isn't the best! It's added to so many of our foods, but more natural sweeteners are processed much easier by our bodies.
Whenever possible, I try not to eat processed foods - opting instead for foods that have a good source of natural sugars - like fruits.
I've even found a great alternative in xylitol! It not only doesn't have a lot of the drawbacks of artificial sweeteners (b/c it's natural), but even has been shown to help with tooth decay!
Let me know if you're interested in hearing more about xylitol!
Right, but the problem is the vast majority, if not all of your posts are about xylitol. How do you suggest people take your advice seriously if it's so biased to your financial goals?
I could see if you could separate yourself from the product by posting other things, but you can't seem to manage that. In addition, there are much, much more important factors that most people need to know about before they hear about xylitol.
The fact that you're a supposed "personal trainer" worries me given this bias so far.
And don't worry, my knowledge, expertise and experience goes well beyond xylitol!
I've made less than a dozen posts in less than a week....so let's all give each other a chance to show our full range of value before judging...which will probably take longer than 2 days.
