Hello!
I'm new to the message boards and recently have started to take my weight loss seriously. I've always been a foodie. I love food.. no matter what and this has been a downfall that I have to deal with regarding my weight.
I am 24 years old and 5 foot tall.. I weighed myself last week and i was 163. the highest I've ever been. In order to take control of this.. I wake up an hour early so I can work out and cut out the ice cream and chips and other crappy foods. I eat 3 meals a day with 2 mid-day snacks. I would like to lose 3 pounds a week with my final goal being 125 pounds. The good thing is this morning I weighed myself and I'm at 159! I know its going to be a hard and slow process but I need to do this for myself.

I just wanted to say hi to everyone and I hope I can be supportative to everyone here. :)

hey there i am new as well, good luck and hopefully i can help, being a food junkie myself i get where you are comming from. I don't undestand how others can just get sick of eating, I love it. I guess the trick is to find good eaties like celery and nuts vs icecream and ....well nuts. good job on the loss so far though!! later:)
 
Great job on the weightloss so far, and more importantly for taking the steps necessary to lead a healthy and fit life :)
