Hi

I'm pretty new to this fitness thing, I used to be slightly overweight at 173cm tall and around 80kgs. My self esteem was really badly as a result of it and other things as well. I have a body type where the fat is distrubted around my gut generally and if I continued being that weight (I'm 23) now, I would have headed towards early heart disease and diabetes.

Well for some reason I lost like 7 kgs (now weigh around 72-73kgs) in a month or so in December of last year. I have worked out at the gym at the university campus I am studying 3 times a week for the last several months. I am going to start doing yoga classes at the same gym next week. I would have started recently, if I had not gotten sick with the flu.

I have seen my body fat go down from around 19% to maybe 15-17%, My legs are more well developed than the upper part of the body. Recently I have decided to make my diet healther by radically cutting down the sugar consumption (which is quite high) and drink more water.

I guess my goals is to get reasonably fit, but also to build muscle and reduce my body fat, especially around my stomach and back where it is these days, I have not very much body fat elsewhere (maybe expect under my chin). Getting rid of my beer gut, having nice pecs and nice arms and legs would be great.
