Hi there

Hi! So I have just signed up and I am hoping to get inspired here. I have not been part of a fitness forum for years. I used to be on the Oxygen Mag boards and found that forum to be a complete train wreck.

I have just started back at the gym and am focusing primarily on weight training. I'm not that into doing cardio in the gym (I love outdoor cardio) but I'm thinking of getting into the boot camp classes they offer on the weekends. My goals at the moment are to 'feel good'.

Thats' it.

I'm not chasing fat loss or anything else. In recent years I have slowly been going through pre-menopause and doing weight training (the natural highs that come from the sore muscles) I find are giving me allot of relief from the menopause symptoms. Perhaps once I get a good routine going, then I can think about fat loss. I am 20 pounds heavier than I was pre-kids...and that is the weight I think I would like to get back too as that is where I felt my best.
Looking forward to interacting with you all.

Welcome aboard.
Looks like a very good reason to train. I train at home or run outdoors now but when I was at a gym they had an 'outdoor active' class that got renamed to 'boot camp' because if it was wet or cold people didn't want it to be outdoors. I kind of wonder about people signing up for outdoor active who don't like being outdoors, then again I am considered a bit strange.
