my name is gayla and i decided i'd come on here to try and get some new ideas and support from other people in the same situation as myself.

I feel like if I don't start trying to lose weight now then it's going to get harder as I age. I understand our metabolism slows down as we get older. For the last three weeks I've been eating lean cuisines, a salad and one fruit a day. I can tell it's working cuz my skin is getting loose. (ugh) If anyone has any ideas regarding exercise while losing to help the skin elasticity to get firm as I lose, I'd appreciate knowing.

Just wanted to welcome you! I have only been here about 2 weeks myself, I know you are gonna love it! I'm sorry I dont have any idea's for your exercises.. I just wanted to share with you my experience with Lean Cuisines... Around 2 months ago.. I quit eating everything but lean cuisines for lunch and dinner and with in about a month I had lost 9 pounds.. Anyway.. Everyone here is very supportive.. You might want to start you a diary to help you keep track of your progress and food, exercises or just about anything! Feel free to post in our diary's if you have any questions... or you just want to say hi!

Welcome! Congrats on your loss so far!

I think that adding some exercise would be a great idea...maybe start out slow with some stuff you can do at home, or join a gym for more variety. From what I've heard, your skin has a better chance of "bouncing back" after a big weight loss if you lose it slowly rather than quickly...anyone else hear the same thing?
