Hey, My name is Meaghan & I'm 16 years old. I'm 5' 6" & 197 pounds currently. Last summer I got down to 160 by "Fasting" but I gained it all back ( which goes to show that fasting isn't for all of us I guess ) I've tried dieting, but I just don't feel as though I lose the weight quick enough.. So my new plan is to exercise along the way. I figure the fastest healthy way to lose weight is simply to not over-eat & to exercise. I've tried practically every fad diet on there, but I'm quite the compulsive eater so they don't really work out for me.. So I figure this way I won't be depriving myself of food, instead, I'll just work the cals off later on! I really hope this works.. I've never tried weight loss by exersizing before.. I guess I've always been too lazy..but now I feel that it's time to get off my butt & get moving!! I know the first 15 pounds will come off REALLY quick ( they usually do ).. because it's mostly just extra weight.. but once I get to the 170s/160s .. that's when it gets hard for me. School starts August 30th & I want to be 175 by then.. which is only around 20 pounds away...I think that can be accomplished if I stick to my plan. By October 5th I want to be 145-150. My plan is to eat 3 meals a day & exercise by doing 1 hour on the treadmill,cardio for 3 songs [ what I do is , I run in place for the whole song, but when the chorus comes on, I do jumping jacks ] Then 100 crunches & 25 push ups. It may sound a bit much for a beginner.. but you gotta understand I have no life haha, I sit on my butt all day and do nothing, so I figure why not go about losing weight and make myself usefull?! Hopefully it works.. Sorry this was so long! <3
