I have always struggled with overeating and a moderate amount of weight yo-yo cycles. But mostly stayed within the same range of moderately overweight. However since quitting the use of cigarettes, alcohol and drugs of any kind (including pot) my weight has RAPIDLY increased as I have been eating constantly. Obviously that is largely due to substituting things I have set aside with food. I know it's also emotional eating too. I am tired of living in extremes and don't want to do a crash diet or crazy intense exercise program for the next few months, drop a bunch of weight, only to gain it back later because nothing has truly changed internally for me. What I want more than anything is stability, self-control and regular healthy routines I can live by. Anyone else resonate with that?
