Hi I'm new here and I've gained 70 pounds from being diagnosed with tardive dyskineasia and put on the drug Ingrezza. I weigh 220 and for now my goal is to get to 200. How are you supposed to lose weight on a weight gainer drug? My doctor has given me adderall to help and I've been on it for three weeks. Along with the tardive dyskineasia I'm battling chronic lyme disease. I was bedridden and in a wheelchair for three years. My exercise is limited to just walking on the treadmill. I currently can't work or drive so I'm hoping to make new friends on here. I've limited my diet to fruits, vegtables and protein. Cut out the bread, rice, grains and sweets. What else am I suppose to do?

why do you classify Ingrezza as "a weight gainer drug". data seems to indicate that it may induce drowsiness, but no indication of weight gain is listed.

you may want to look at the fruit in your diet. other than little fruit... berries, i limit myself to one piece of large fruit (apples, oranges, bananas, etc) a day. the term "fruits & vegetables" needs to be revisited by dieters. many vegetables, while high in carbohydrates, are loaded with macronutrients. most fruits are only loaded with sugar.

Check webmd drs version it causes metabolic problems aka weight gain in 10%. So don't go saying it doesn't cause weight gain when u know nothing about it.

If all you people on here are gonna argue with me and say that Ingrezza doesn't cause weight gain when in fact my doctor says so and I'm proof positive then I minus as well leave this place.

weight gain in 10%... i'm guessing you weren't a math major.... :)
