Hi everybody, You can call me king, i'm fat and trying to lose some weight. I first lost weight at age 13 and got to my ideal weight of 160 from 200. Well i'm 28 now and have put all the weight back on and then some. I'll be posting regularily as it will give me something to do, and more motivation.

Happy dieting.

Hi King. Good Luck w/your dieting.

Welcome to the forum! I hope you will start a diary. That is a good place to post regularly and keep track of your exercise and calories. It is also a good place for us to get to know you and offer support. Good luck! :D

I'm a nurse, but i'm on leave for the summer Hurray! So i can really focus on my diet, I'm 6 foot and weight 235 mh goal is 175. I know what will make you lose weight, once when i was 15 i weighed 200 lbs, by the time school started back i was 165, nobody recongnized me. I'm hoping for similar results this time, I had started dieting about 3 weeks ago i lost 9, but put it right back on by pigging out and not exercising, i hope this forum will help me to stop that. And stick to my plan, if i had not slipped for so long it would have probally been 20 pounds lost, but now i'm back to where i started. Don't you just hate that, all that diet and excercise for nothing. I know i do.

Oh and thanks to all you guys for welcoming me!

Hey can anyone of you guys tell me how i get one of those ticker things at the bottom of my posts?

welcome King,

Yeah I am in the same boat as far as losing weight and gaining it back.
The good thing is..as far as good could be, is that you, me or anyone in our shoes already knows what it takes to lose the weight. Now it's time to lose it again and while this happening, learn how to keep it off. Daily reality checks.
We are never done being a diet. We will always have to control what and how much goes in our mouth, but it is possible and many have done so, and so can we all here.

Just say to yourself that you will lose 10 lbs. After that 10, you will feel so good and keep on going. The 10lbs will be a big movtivator for more weight shed to occur.

The other great thing is, we are all here and you can see some before and after photos and how much all these folks have lost so far. If they can and we did it too at one point, then so can we.

much success,
JDI
