Hi everyone, I'm Emily. It's nice to meet you :)

I hope I've got something interesting to offer this forum.

First of all, I've been through my own weight loss journey, and am constantly working to maintain my goal weight. My key philosophy is "enjoy food, be kind to yourself, no diets". I have found that learning to love the foods that love you back helps keep me on the right path.

Second, my journey inspired me to become a dietitian and now there's nothing I enjoy more than helping others with their own journeys.

I'm looking forward to learning from the wealth of weight loss experiences on the forum, and adding my own knowledge where I can.

I agree with your philosophy regarding "no diets". I too am just applying sensible healthy eating habits I know I can maintain. I have never lasted long on fad diets or starvation diets. I just joined a few minutes ago. I am totally committed to losing 35 lbs.
