Hi everybody! I hope you are all having a great day so far!

I stumbled upon this site last night when I was browsing weight loss ideas, and I was so encouraged by your warm atmosphere! I’m very excited about joining and can’t wait to get to know everyone better!

I’m a student right now, and finding it increasingly hard to eat right. Being away from home is difficult for me, and I’ve become more and more of a junk food junkie, just because it’s kind of comforting. Plus, I don’t have much time (or money) to prepare really complicated meals and am currently struggling to eat healthy.

I used to exercise a lot but have kind of fallen out of the routine. I am hopeful to get back on the track to fitness and health!

Thanks, have a wonderful afternoon!

Lauren

PS, I always welcome any tips or advice! If you wish to give them feel free!

Welcome petunia, I like your name. Eating healthy is getting increasingly expensive. You might want to start reading your local grocery store ads that come in the mail every week and seek out the best deals on healthy sale items.

Thanks for the tip Ima, thats a good idea! The only problem is again the time it takes to go to many different grocery stores. If you have any tips for cheap healthy meals that would be great as well!

PS, congradulations on your progress so far, 24 pounds is definatly something to be proud of!

I find I do have to go to different stores for different things. For example, one store has a huge family size broccoli thing for $2 that no other store has. I go there just for that. Same with other stores. You may have to snoop around a little, but once you find where to go and for what, you're good to go!

Wow, that is an amazing deal!!

All right, I'll make sure to be on the lookout! I find that a lot of the time I'm not only a binge eater, I'm kind of a binge spender... But one habit at a time right

Thanks for your help!!
