So new...

I have just started this diet and find that I need to be accountable to someone so i don't ratanalize my lack of progress or "slips" . I have been reading some of the entries and ran across on which mentioned this web site. I went to it and found it to be live-able. Go to the link to see my progress. ( not today...I just put in my starting weight (179 pounds) My goal is 130 by Dec 31, '06. That is 1.25 points per week. I will be checking in every day to report my activities and food intake. Glad to meet you and I promise to be supportive as I can to everyone

On Day one I consumed about 4860 calories. Ughhhhh.
Today, Day Two, I consumed only 1711 calories. Not great but definately an inprovement. After one week of trying to get my intake under control I will begin to add exercises for the purpose of weight loss. Right now I add my regular daily activites. I'm 5'7" and 179 pounds (age 50). My goal weight is 130 which I hope to meet by Dec. 31, 2006 so that I can start 2007 as a healther me. My link is below. Check on it to see my progress.
