Hi Everyone!
I am rapidly approaching my forties and have decided that now is the time to make the change so I can live a long and happy and healthy life.

Easier said than done... I really like ice cream sandwiches and Netflix and read. And, heavy bodies are hard to move. I think I would rather take a nap.

But! I also love the great outdoors, and I have a forest in my backyard that's begging me to come out and play. And I do miss jogging and being active and just feeling better about myself. :(

I thought about joining a gym but dont feel comfortable enough being around all those "lunks" and "hunks" -- not that they'd notice me right now.

So, for the time being, it will be me on the road or track or trail and here trying to stay motivated.

if you can get your exercise out of the gym, you are better off, anyway. The open air is better for your lungs. The random terrain is better than a treadmill. If you add in calisthenics to your outdoor exercising, you are way better off then the gym rats.
