I'm in my mid 40s currently on my own weight loss program. Asian, 5'7", now 73Kg, highest was 85-86kg. Actually this is is my 3rd attempt. First was in 2010, I didn't manage to loose even a single Kg and it last only a month. The second attempt was last year, it was quite successful but it was not sustainable (the diet part) and the timing was wrong.. I lost about 10kgs within 2.5 months. I gained them 10kgs in no time when I stop exercising & watching my diet. This time I made some changes to the program particularly the diet part so that it can be sustainable. Started the program 2.5 months ago and I already off 11kgs... the goal is to reach normal BMI (now still at the lower end of overweight BMI) and then to start maintenance phase. I hope it works this time around... Hope to hear your story too...
