Hi everyone,
Just a little about myself... I'm a new first time mom, put on quite a bit of pregnancy weight and hoping to work it off in a timely manner. I was overweight as a kid but lost it all in my teen years and kept it off for several years until my pregnancy. Due to medical reasons for not being able to remain active throughout the pregnancy I ended up putting on a lot of weight.
I'm hoping to get lots of feedback and advice from everyone especially mom's who've been through the postpartum weight loss struggle on how to get back on track with an exercise and diet regime. I eat healthy, no soda or fast food, mostly whole grain foods, plenty of fruits and veggies, and moderate protein consumption. Sometimes it's just eating too much overall. I got used to eating for two and trying to get back to the eating for one postpartum.
My main goal is to get back into routine and frequent exercise since that was one of the main things that inspired me previously to lose the weight, destress, and feel good about myself as well as maintain a positive outlook through the postpartum transitional time.
Looking forward to hearing from everyone.
