Hello,

I'm really pleased to have found this forum :) I've been battling with my weight for years and really need some help! Last year I reached my target weight, but for all the wrong reasons - my ex-boyfriend dumped me without warning for a girl the same age as my youngest daughter, stating that I'd become too old, fat and unattractive and he couldn't bear to be with me. I lost 20 pounds very rapidly, partly through shock and partly through a very restricted, rigid diet combined with daily exercise.

Fortunately, I'm now in a much happier place emotionally - I'm in a stable relationship with a wonderful man who loves me as I am but also supports my fitness and weight goals - but I've put back on most of the weight I lost :( Despite eating very healthily for the majority of the time (mostly raw vegetables and fruit, clean protein sources, home-cooked meals, and deserts restricted to being a weekend treat), I'm finding it almost impossible to lose weight. I joined an online gym and found it brilliant for a while, but now I'm working and commuting for ridiculously long hours, leaving no time for exercise except at the weekends. I'm starting a job much closer to home later in the year, but for now I'm finding it extremely difficult to fit exercise in and my weight gain is making me miserable.

I'd be really grateful for any suggestions and support! Thanks :)

hello
i've been busy as hell too as a student whose college is almost all the whole day ( 9 hours a day ) but i'm telling you that this didn't stop my 1 hour running daily , if you really want to achieve it you must work hard for it , i don't think one hour a day would kill your time , gym will help you to get nice shape body , but when it come to lose fat you need to do sport like cycling , or like running .. healthy food is a must , and don't have strict regime , make it fair , don't dry it too much and don't eat too much , ideal is the best :v and good luck with losing weight , we all support you :v
