Hi Everyone!
Nice to be here, Just wanted to say Hello and share my story.
I am 23 yrs old and a mom of 2 . A little over a year ago I got very sick and already weighed 195 lbs but due to my sickness was forced to have a hysterectomy at 22 yrs old while we were trying to have another baby.
I know I am full of excuses but after that I went into a deep depression and all I ever did was stay in bed and want to eat all the time, Well as of early last month I reached 267 lbs. That has been very hard on me realizing how big I had let myself get, And with the weight I developed more problems, I got tired so easy and didnt have the energy to clean my house anymore or even play with my kids. I just sat here and ate and ate and put on more lbs. every week.It even got to the point that I was losing my breathe just walking to the car and back. I dont want to be that way.
I am determined to change my life but always seem to fail with everything, I never stay consistent and I know I need to and I am also a Pepsi addict!
Well I cant say I am doing great but last month I found a website amanda.lose20.com and checked into it, I met a awesome woman who explained some very simple things to me about vitamins and nutrition , I joined a company that has these amazing energy bars that takes care of my chocolate fix and gives so much energy that I can clean house all day now, I have lost 7 lbs in the last month from using their bars , drinks and vitimans and I am hoping to lose more!
I came to this site to hopefully find more support and maybe learn a exercise program that can help me on top of what I am using for energy right now.
I also want thank the woman who called me back from this website cause her support has been amazing and 7lbs is a great to me!
I look forward to getting to meet more people on here and learn everything I can learn!
Hope to meet everyone soon!

Welcome to the site!

Thanks for the Welcomes!
I will have to learn more about the site and how to do a diary....
Things got crazy this week so I just now I got a chance to come back!

You can do it

Hello and welcome.
I am also new to this sight. You can do it, no matter how difficult it appears to be.

We all have similar situations and one common goal.

Welcome Losing20mom! This is a great place to be :) I'm a pepsi addict too...and have cut it down to one can a day for my fix :D You can do it!

I have 2 kids too; how old are yours? Mine are 4 and 8 weeks.

Thanks for the welcomes! Wow everyone here is so nice!!
Yes I have 2 kids , A 4 yr old girl and 2 yr old boy! I am also a Stay at home/work at home mom so I never have to miss anything in their life! At first I thought working at home was going to be a bad idea but the wonderful company I am teamed up with offers awesome meal replacement snacks and vitimans and my energy has been through the roof! So it is turning out to be better than I expected, I have lost another 2 pounds and I truly believe the reason why is because of the company I work with. I have made my life healthier in so many diffrent ways and have learned so much that I didnt know before!
No more fast food joints for me!
The Pepsi is the hardest though.....I am having a lot of problems breaking from it.....
I thought it was just the caffeine I was addicted to but now I think its not...
Anyone got any suggestions on breaking away from Pepsi?

No suggestions here...I love my pepsi too much. I tried once to quit cold turkey, and made it only 2 weeks.

I'm finding it easier now to limit. I still get a bit for my cravings/withdrawal, but I'm only drinking about 1 1/2 cans as opposed to the 5 or 6 I was drinking. And the odd day I am really busy, I only drink 1. I find if I always have a glass or bottle of water at my right hand, I reach for that, and it helps a lot. Replacing a bad habit with a good one.:)
