Hi everyone! I'm new. I just got on about 5 mins ago. It's great to be here. Hopefully you guys can motivate me to lose some weight! I was just wondering, what kind of diets/plans/exercise did you do to achieve such success? It takes so much effort for me to lose 5lbs. Are there any good tips? :confused:
 
Welcome and good luck! Everyone here is really great. They're so supportive, not only in weight loss but just life situations. :) I know that I personally get a lot of my motivation from this forum. My plan is exercise and counting calories. I try to stay around 1200 calories per day. It does take a lot of effort but you'll get there. Just try. Stick around here and you'll be motivated in no time!
 
i think you will find that there is no set diet plan as everyone has their own methods that work best for them. For example, Coastergirl here, does 1200 calories a day, but i know someone else on the forum does the "eat a ton" plan (i'm not sure what it's actually called, but it's something like that). Myself, i eat 6 small meals a day, but i don't change the foods that i normally eat. Same goes for the exercises that people do ... it's what works best for you.
 
Welcome! It's great that you joined. I also just recently joined. It's so great to have a place outside of your "normal" life to get support in losing weight or whatever it is that you need help with. I go to Weight Watchers, but I also add in my own little things. For example, I drink 1/2 my body weight in fluid ounces of water daily, more if I exercise. I eat either a fruit or veggie every 2 hours...etc. etc. I also work out a lot. Look around at everything, and you can try every one's plan but whatever you like best or whatever fits your life will work for you. You can do it!
