Hi everyone,

A quick description of me: 25 y.o. female, 5'8", about 145-150 lbs. (haven't checked in a while), have lost about 25-30 lbs to date over the past 5 years slowly through changed eating habits and exercise.

I've been feeling particularly sorry for myself today as I had "planned" to get back on track this week and failed once again. I always manage to have a plan set out but I have a difficult time not binge eating or eating bad food in general (believe me that I know what goes in makes all the difference!). My goal is to get back to a healthy life that I've been derailed from this year. I don't expect to feel great tomorrow, but this is a start at least.

BC? Where about? I'm in Kelowna.

Anyway, welcome! It's always hard making that first step to creating a regular routine and soooo much easier to fall off. However, it's not about saying "i'll do it tomorrow" or making a plan, it's about doing it when you think about it. If you say "tomorrow", something can always get in the way. If you say, "i'm going right now!", there is nothing stopping you. If you've done it before, you will do it again.

Make yourself accountable by telling everyone that is close to you that you are going to do it. Next time you see them, they will ask you how it went, so it'll help make double-sure that you do it. You can also create yourself a journal on here to keep yourself accountable to everyone here. This is a great support group and we wish you the best of luck!

And thanks! You're right, I do need to make the routine and not let the little stuff get me down. I've started a journal to write and keep a mental note of how I'm doing. I'm sure it will help!
