Hi My Name Is Staci I Am A Mom Of 3 Kids And I Am 30 Years Old Currently I Weight 315 And Hoping To Weigh 135 In A Year Or A Litle Bit Over A Year. I Desperately Want To Do This. I Hope To Meet New Friends . I Hope To Learn New Ways To Cook And Hope To Be A Friend To You All.

I was just wondering...what is the point of the diaries? I have an account on fitday and it kind of does what they do one there. Is it for the support? Also...if it gets to be a lot of pages, say over 20, do you delete it because of it's size...I've seen other forums do it. Just wondering...
 
well, here the diarys are just threads.. they aren't like the ones on fitday. I honestly can't figure out fitday.com, so if you can, just use that. Most of the people here use it it share with others how each day is going, and how much they ate, what kind of workout they did, etc. Also for motivation and support.

I started one a while ago, but I don't have the time to actually write in it.. I just can't keep up. So it's up to you. If you want to start one then go right ahead.
 
Hi chunky soup, for me the point of the diary is to be able to go back over the weeks before hand and see when I had a good week and when I had a bad week. :)
It shows me what I have done right to loose weight and what I have done wrong. It helps me keep myself accountable for what I have done for the week (good or bad) it’s a little hard to cheat yourself when it’s all there in front of you in righting. :eek:
I have so much weight to loose that I need to keep an eye on myself and the diary helps me. The support that I get from the people on this site is priceless. I was a lurker for a while and used to read other peoples diaries and it really gave me the incentive to start my weight loss journey.

So that’s why I think the diaries are the best thing since sliced bread ;)
