Hi everyone. I am a young (22 yrs) married Mama. I have three young kids, twins that are three and a daughter who is one.
After my twin pregnancy, I got my pre-pg body back within weeks. I knew I was lucky. Sure enough, after my daughter, I stayed 40 lbs overweight (I gained 60 with her).
I am 5'8" and 180 right now. People close to me tell me it's hard to see where that extra 40 lbs is. I agree, until I try to squeeze into my jeans lately or look at myself even semi-nude, lol.
So with that said, my target weight is 140-150 or so.
I am an emotional over-eater. I've curbed that quite a bit in the past 9 days (who's counting, right?), which I am proud to say. I've allowed tiny treats here and there, but otherwise I've done great. I've upped my water intake to around 100 oz a day as well. When I used to drink that much, I was able to keep my weight down. So I am hoping it helps somewhat this time around. I also cut out Pepsi 9 days ago as well. The caffiene headaches have ceased.
I am slowly introducing more exercising as well. It's hard to find the time chasing my kids around, but sadly chasing them around isn't enough for me it seems. So I am going to try making myself find time in the next week, we will see!
So there is my LONG introduction. Thanks!
