Hi,

I'm excited to join this forum and meet new people. It seems like a lovely tool to use to keep myself focused on my weight loss.

My lifestyle has changed somewhat over the past 18 months and this has led to some unwanted weight gain.

I'm 26, female, 5'4 and 141lbs. Though this keeps me in a healthy bmi weight of 24.2 ( i think) I'm aware that if i don't control my weight now this will climb over 25.

My weight gain began when i began over indulging at the bar.

I wen't from a very moderate, once a month, drinker at 8stone 7 to a few times a week drinker at 10st 1.

I'm pretty convinced that my weight gain is purely down to the party lifestyle on a whole as my eating habits haven't really changed. I've now made the decision to stay away from the bars, pubs and clubs, began swimming, and hoping to keep this clarity and reap the benefits.

The little things can go a long way. Glad you've decided to step in now rather than wait, some of us can tell the horrors of the other side. Swimming is always a nice option. Welcome to the forum.
